RunCloud Young Technovation
The Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovations (MOSTI) has launched a nationwide initiative called Techlympics to promote STEM education among children, teenagers, and young. Techlympics has been developed to be more inclusive in order to attract beginners as well as tech enthusiasts. It will include more practical learning projects that emphasize the notion of "learning while doing," with less classroom - style exercises.
For this year's event; in partnership with MRANTI, RunCloud will organise two programmes under the RunCloud Young Technovation called RC Cloud Practitioner Challenge and RC Game Development Challenge.
Why you should participate ?
Participants in RunCloud Young Technovation 2022 will be mentored by experts in a more relaxed and casual setting, outside of typical classroom learning. All participants will gain firsthand experience with futuristic technology through brief online courses and workshops focusing on game development and cloud computing. Plus, participants will be able to improve themselves by gaining new knowledge and skills relevant to current market industries.

RC Cloud Practitioner Challenge
The RC Cloud Practitioner Challenge is a competition organized by RunCloud Education to foster interest in cloud computing technologies. This challenge also aims to promote the concept of cloud computing, namely the analysis, design, and implementation of compute and storage clouds, to university students and youths in Malaysia at an entry level.
Prerequisite
- Malaysian citizen.
- University students and youths.
- Ages between 18 – 30 years old.
- Have basic Information Technology (IT) knowledge.

Theme: Innovation Competition (Inclusion)
- In accordance with one of the Malaysia Techlympics themes; Innovation for People's Well - Being and Environmental Sustainability, RunCloud Education will organize a competition focused on cloud computing in order to inspire young people to be innovative and to be able to utilize the usage and development of technology by developing a product that can benefit people's lives, communities, and the environment.

Round 1 : Preliminary round
Date : 25th – 30th September 2022
Final submission for preliminary round would be on the 1st October 2022
- Participants must attend all four RunCloud Education workshops.
- Throughout the workshops, trainers will provide participants with guidance in designing their product.
- Teams need to deploy their end product online by 1st October 2022.

Round 2 : Final round
Date : 22nd October 2022
- 10 teams from the preliminary round will be selected to proceed to the final round.
- Selected teams need to present their end product at the JomLaunch event.

RC Game Development Challenge
RunCloud Education organizes the RC Game Development Challenge to foster school students' interest in game development. The goal of this challenge is for students to understand how games are developed and deployed. This challenge also attempts to foster creativity. By completing this challenge, participants will have a thorough grasp of basic game development.

- In accordance with one of the Malaysia Techlympics themes, CCA will organize a competition utilizing mobile games as an awareness media to promote the awareness of People Well - being and Environmental Sustainability.
